Chris moved to Tacoma in 2016 with his wife, Dedra. They have since then added their first daughter Elliana and second daughter Seraphina to their family.
Chris studied accounting at Idaho State University. He focused on tax and accounting and graduated in 2015 with a Master of Accountancy. The Nash Group was formed in 2020 through a merger with Nelson & Company, a firm that has existed in Tacoma since 1979.

- Added their two daughters to the family in 2017 and 2021.
